Governance policy
An institutional governance framework that sets out roles and responsibilities, and embeds integrity, transparency and accountability in how programmes, resources and partnerships are managed.
Who we are
Al Mabarrah International Charitable Association is a charity based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It was founded to provide humanitarian and development aid to people in need, in the UAE and abroad. The Association designs distinctive, sustainable charitable projects and delivers its services with institutional efficiency, to the highest standards of governance.
From the United Arab Emirates, we are building a modern model of giving that turns a donation from a passing contribution into documented impact: traceable, and respectful of dignity.
Our vision
We build pathways that carry giving to communities in need, in the UAE and abroad, through institutional processes that protect dignity and document every step.
Our mission
We deliver charitable services with institutional efficiency, bringing support to the communities we serve and following the impact of every contribution all the way to the beneficiary.
A word from the Chairman
“At Al Mabarrah International Charitable Association, we see charitable work as an institutional responsibility and a lasting humanitarian impact. Through it, we turn giving into projects that protect dignity, reach communities in need, and build bridges of trust between donor and beneficiary.”
H.E. Dr Ali Rashid Abdulla Ali Al Nuaimi
Chairman of the Board, Al Mabarrah International Charitable Association
Why the Association was founded
Al Mabarrah International Charitable Association was founded out of the need for an institutional model of charity that can turn giving into organised, lasting impact, meeting basic human needs in education, health, water, relief, sponsorship and community aid. From the United Arab Emirates, the Association works to close humanitarian and development gaps for those most in need, through trusted programmes, effective partnerships and ways of working that protect dignity and strengthen trust and transparency.
Governance
An institutional framework that sets out roles and responsibilities, makes decision-making more effective, and embeds integrity, transparency and accountability.

Protecting the data of donors, beneficiaries and partners, with procedures that keep information confidential and secure and govern who can access and use it.
Applying clear quality standards to programme design, project delivery and impact follow-up, and raising institutional performance continuously.
Developing distinctive charitable initiatives, improving the ways people give, and using digital solutions and smart partnerships to maximise humanitarian impact.
Managing assets and financial and operational resources efficiently and responsibly, under controls that ensure their best use and long-term sustainability.
Preparing an annual report that presents our programmes, results, impact indicators and approved financial statements.
Our values
We do this work seeking closeness to Allah, and keep our intention free of show. Impact matters first before Allah, then for those we serve.
Every donation is a trust. We direct it to its approved purpose, document it, and disclose where it goes.
We protect the beneficiary's dignity before we document impact. We never expose them or require them to appear.
Regular reports, audited financial statements, and open channels for contact and questions.
We choose projects that leave a lasting impact, not a passing benefit.
Efficiency, governance and continuous improvement, so we deliver our services to the highest standards.
Strategic goals
Each of our six goals is tied to a clear performance indicator and an approved annual report, so that giving moves from a generous intention to a documented result.
Developing distinctive charitable programmes in education, health, water, relief, sponsorship and humanitarian aid, and measuring the number of beneficiaries and the scale of impact every year.
Publishing regular reports on where donations go, how much is spent and the status of projects, to strengthen the trust of donors and partners.
Building an easy, secure giving platform that offers quick payment, monthly giving, gifts in someone's name and impact tracking, and connects each donor with the result of their contribution.
Diversifying sources of funding through Waqf endowments, monthly donations, institutional partnerships, digital campaigns and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Working with government, private and humanitarian organisations in the UAE and abroad to deliver projects that are more efficient and reach further.
Turning volunteering from seasonal participation into an ongoing system that includes individuals, companies, volunteer teams and specialist skills.
Every contribution, whatever its size, can become water that reaches a family, learning that opens a door, treatment that eases pain, or a sponsorship that gives a child hope.
